This privacy policy sets out how Knowork Knowledge Networks B.V. (“we/us/our”) uses, discloses and protects any Personal Data provided by you ( “you/your”) when utilizing the Knowork web application (the “App”).We recommend you to read this privacy policy in order to understand our approach towards the use of your Personal Data. Should you not agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data, we ask you to refrain from using the Knowork web application and not to provide us with your Personal Data otherwise.

For the purposes of this privacy policy, the term ´Personal data` refers to any single piece of information or conglomerate of different pieces of information which could allow you to be identified.
We collect Personal Data as follows:
Information provided by you: First and last name; Contact information including email account; Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests; Job title and place of occupation; Picture of yourself; Written profile about yourself; Past occupations including your previous job titles and term of the engagement(s); Personal interests; List of personal skills; Your curriculum vitae (´CV`)

Information we receive from third parties:
Third parties such as business partners, service providers in technology, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers or credit reference agencies may share Personal Data in relation to you depending on the sharing permissions you granted them.

We collect your Personal Data in order to provide the services of the App. This includes but is not limited to:We use your Personal Data to increase your chances of being connected with new opportunities while using the App. The more Personal Data we have on you, the easier it is to find you and as such, your network becomes bigger.

As such, we use Clearbit, a third-party data processor, to automatically enrich your profile, based on your Personal Data with the goal of making profile creation increasingly easy.

We improve your experience based on your Personal Data. By providing it to community operators which, on the basis of your Personal Data, tailor your experience of the App to your personal preferences.Monitoring includes the use of your Personal Data in order to conduct technical troubleshooting and finding of technical errors, with the aim of improving your experience of the App.

The Personal Data we collect may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the European Economic Area. These staff may be engaged in the fulfilment of your request, order or reservation, and the provision of support services. By submitting your Personal Data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your Personal Data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All Personal Data you provide us with is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions carried out by us or our chosen third-party provider of payment processing services will be encrypted. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of the App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

Transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of the Personal Data transmitted to the App; any transmission is at your own risk. Once the Personal Data is fully uploaded on the App, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.Well will collect and store Personal Data on your device with which they access the App via application data caches and browser web storage and other technology.

We may disclose your Personal Data to third parties in order to provide our services to you. We will ensure that the relevant third parties process your Personal Data in accordance with this privacy policy and the terms set out in your licence agreement.

Currently, the following third parties have access to your Personal Data:

Clearbit, a marketing data engine which processes your email address and returns various data points.

Hotjar, a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and do not like etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on your behaviour and your devices and stores this information in a pseudonymized profile.

Additionally, we may disclose your Personal Data: a) if we are legally required or entitled to do so, for example in the event of legal proceedings or for the purpose of detection of fraud and other crimes or as part of a security audit;
b) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the security of the App or the safety of the overall data we store;
c) in the event of a change of control within our company, the underlying process thereof may include the transfer of your Personal Data directly related to the change of control; and d) to any other third-party, with your permission to do so.

The collection, usage and disclosure of Personal Data collected through the use of the App is safeguarded by technological and organisational security measures with the objective to protect the Personal Data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures are continually improved in line with technological developments.

We will not retain your Personal Data for a period longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected for, unless we have to keep it for legitimate business, tax or legal purposes.

The App may contain links to other websites. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. This privacy policy applies solely to the Personal Data collected, used and restored in connection with the use of the App.

You are entitled to: receive information regarding whether we hold Personal Data related to you; receive a copy of transcript of such Personal Data; request that we correct all information you believe to be incorrect; request the deletion of your Personal Data; in certain cases, restrict us to process your Personal Data; object to the processing of your Personal Data; request us to transfer your Personal Data to a different organization.

Should you make a request out of the above, we have a statutory period of one month to respond to you.
